Manager, Water Management at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E)
Tyler Covich serves as the Manager of Water Management at PG&E, leading a team of technical professionals responsible for the hydrologic, hydrographic, and outage planning functions of PG&E’s portfolio of hydro generation assets. Tyler has nearly 20 years of experience in the power generation industry and his commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement has led him to become a leader in his company. Tyler’s professional expertise spans asset management, project management, operations and maintenance, outage planning, and regulatory compliance. Tyler has supervised and led teams of craft and professional employees and has successfully managed multi-million dollar projects. Tyler has held various positions at PG&E, including Principal Power Generation Asset Strategy Analyst and Hydro Generation Maintenance and Operations Supervisor. Tyler received a bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University, Chico. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, mountain biking, and camping, and occasionally escaping into a good sci fi/fantasy novel.
