Dr. Ratanak (Nak) So is an electrical engineer at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Hydroelectric Design Center, where he has served since joining as an Engineer in Training in 2017.
His technical expertise centers on generator and excitation system designs, as well as North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) model validation. Dr. So holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.
