Craig Bourassa

Craig has worked in the hydropower industry for 15 years, the last 10 for Avista Utilities in Spokane Washington. In Craig’s current capacity he serves as the technical lead for the creation of a new Asset Management process to define the lifecycle for fixed assets at Avista. This includes facilitating the design, implementation, and training of new asset management business processes, bringing unique set of tools and techniques to Avista for capital and maintenance planning optimizations. Craig also supports Avista’s thermal and hydro generation NERC compliance work, and Air Permitting for Thermal Generation. Additionally Craig serves as a project engineer supporting equipment replacement and maintenance projects for Avista’s hydro and thermal fleets.
