Michael Pedersen

Prior to his retirement from Kaukauna Utilities, Mike was responsible for Generation, Major Project Construction, Licensing, FERC and Wisconsin DNR Regulations and Compliance, The Electric Distribution System, The Water Distribution System, Substations, Metering, and The Operations Center (manned 24/7). Mike was the Project Manager for the 7.0 MW Badger Hydro Project. He has served as Manager of Generation and Operations, and Generation Superintendent at Kaukauna Utilities. Prior to that, Mike was a Project Manager for AZCO Integrated Construction. While at AZCO, Mike Managed Major Generation Station Outages, the construction of GE Frame 7 Gas Turbines and a project where 6,200 lineal feet of wooden penstock was replaced with spiral weld metal pipe. Mike was also a Project Manager for Wisconsin Public Service Corporation for 15 years, Managing numerous Power Plant upgrades including coal handling systems, electrostatic precipitators, baghouses, hydro upgrades, and Managing Plant Maintenance Outages. Mike is a 1983 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Construction Administration.
