Hydropower Meets Art in Booth 1630 (Lindsay Olson, PNNL Artist-in-Residence)
Join us for an artistic celebration of hydropower with science artist Lindsay Olson, the first artist-in-residence at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Olson will share the results of her year-long residency, exploring the exciting research and innovation happening at the lab through art.
Her 66”w × 30”h artwork, “From Power to Flow: The Art and Science of Hydropower,” will be exhibited during the conference, along with samples and materials that reveal her creative process.
Discover how Olson transformed conversations with dozens of PNNL scientists, engineers, and staff into an artistic exploration of hydropower. See her textile sketches illustrating her techniques, color choices, and stitching, and learn how science, observation, and creativity came together in the final piece.
Meet Lindsay and see the art in booth 1630 during this time.
