Director Power Generation Major Projects at Salt River Project (SRP)
Joe Frazier is the Director of Power Generation Major Projects, bringing decades of leadership and engineering expertise in large-scale power generation and infrastructure development.
Frazier earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University and later completed a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering while working in the aerospace industry with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft (now Boeing). He further strengthened his business acumen by earning an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Under his leadership, the organization has delivered over 1,000 MW of new generation capacity and successfully executed the demolition and closure of the Navajo Generating Station—one of the largest projects of its kind.
Frazier’s career reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence, project delivery, and strategic leadership across the power generation industry.
Joe has been happily married for 41 years, has 5 kids and 19 grandkids.
