Israel Silber is an applied researcher at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) with more than a decade's worth of experience leveraging measurements and model output to extract meaningful insights from complex data.
He currently serves as the AI Engineer for the PNNL Digital Twin for Hydropower project, where he works in close collaboration with domain experts and hydropower facility operations and automation engineers. His work on the project focuses on data-driven identification of issues and potential solutions via the application of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) tools across a diverse set of problems relevant to hydropower operations and forecasting.
