Cory George

Cory George serves as the PG&E Power Generation Security Compliance Consultant responsible for internal and external physical and cyber security compliance. Cory is working to upgrade and maintain security across the Power Generation asset portfolio which includes Solar, Battery Energy Storage System, Fossil Fuel, and Hydro. Cory contributes to industry and regulatory security governance programs to help shape the future of security for our nation’s critical infrastructure. Cory oversees internal and regulatory security audits to ensure a constant state of readiness. Cory is managing over 1600 security projects to improve physical security across the company’s vast asset portfolio. Like all of his co-workers, Cory is charged with finding effective solutions that delivers on our company stance that Everyone and Everything is Always Safe.

Prior to his role in Power Generation Security Compliance, Cory supported PG&E’s Diablo Canyon Power Plant as a supervisor in Nuclear Security, Emergency Planning, and Emergency Services Compliance and Performance Improvement departments.

Outside of work, Cory and his wife have 5 children, coach youth and high school sports, and operate a Christmas tree farm and pumpkin patch on their family farm.
