This half-day seminar is designed for those attendees who are affected by aging penstocks and/or gate machinery. Aging penstocks is a near-universal concern of asset owners. With the advent of the penstock failure at the Colgate hydro plant in California earlier this year, the topic is receiving more attention than ever before. And, when it comes to gates, aging gate machinery is a real pain point for owners of hydroelectric projects (and their consultants).
The seminar will provide a "deep dive" into these two topics. Participants will walk away with practical insight and good ideas to put to work when they return home.
