The U.S. Department of Energy's Hydropower and Hydrokinetic Office (H2O) is seeking to understand the gaps and needs in regional and community coordination for small to medium-scale hydropower projects on topics including:
1. Planning: Basin-scale planning of projects, initiatives, and/or implementation of innovative technologies
2. Energy Addition: Small hydropower development, powering non-powered dams, capacity expansion
3. Feasibility: Evaluation of new technologies
H2O invites hydropower industry and community members to attend this workshop to explore basin-scale planning, discussing common challenges and opportunities that the office may use to scope future work in the area.
