While making a small hydro facility "pencil out" can be challenging, it is possible!

Hear an interactive discussion featuring good ideas and real-life examples from owners of small hydro facilities about their approaches to making their small hydro assets economically viable. During the discussion, audience input is encouraged.

You'll come away feeling inspired and armed with approaches you can put to work immediately.

NHA's <20 MW Roundtable asset owner group will then take the ideas shared in this session and create a "Small Hydro Virtual Lunch and Learn" educational series to be offered to industry over the coming months after Clean Currents.

The owners will share ideas in 2 broad areas:
1) Operations -- Simplicity in equipment and engineering -- Labor - how are you filling worker needs? -- Compliance Tracking 2) Financial -- Getting paid appropriately for your electricity production and ancillary services -- Taking advantage of available tax credits/direct pay and grants
