Patrick Balducci is the Manager of the Generation and Storage Analysis Research Group in the Energy Systems and Infrastructure Assessment Division at Argonne National Laboratory. At Argonne, he also serves as the Lab Relationship Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Renewable Power Programs and the Office of Electricity Energy Storage Program. Mr. Balducci has led research efforts evaluating the benefits of energy storage at 18 sites across the U.S. with combined power and energy capacities of 3.8 GW and 62.8 GWh, respectively, and has led several efforts to enhance economic assessment tools for DOE. He holds a BS in Economics from Lewis and Clark College, where he graduated with honors, and an MSc in Applied Environmental Economics from the University of London, Imperial College of London.
