Stuart Cohen

Stuart Cohen is a senior researcher and hydropower sub-program manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where he has spent the past 12 years analyzing long-term grid planning problems using optimization models and other tools. He leads projects that explore the future role of hydropower and pumped storage in the US electric sector, considering interactions with climate change, other technology developments, and policy.
