Scott DeNeale

Mr. Scott DeNeale is a Water Resources Engineer (EIT) Research Staff in Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Environmental Sciences Division, conducting a wide variety of applied research projects at the largest science and energy national laboratory in the U.S.

He has specialized experience in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, water resources engineering, environmental and economic data analysis, and project management, with application to water-energy systems. Mr. DeNeale joined ORNL in March 2013 and is currently primarily involved in hydropower and pumped storage hydropower research, hydropower technology and cost modeling research, and precipitation and flood modeling.

Prior to joining ORNL, Mr. DeNeale gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Student Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and completed a summer position with the Federal Highway Administration as a materials engineering technician. He holds an M.S. in Environmental Engineering and B.S. in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
