Power Your Future Career Expo at Arizona State University
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM Day: Tuesday, September 22 Location: Arizona State University
The Hydropower Foundation is hosting its second Power Your Future Career Expo at Arizona State University (ASU) on Tuesday, September 22nd from 1:30-4:00 PM. The event is being held alongside Clean Currents, providing a great opportunity to connect industry professionals like you with local students interested in energy careers. You can participate in two ways:
1. Career Exploration: Industry professionals represent their career discipline and discuss their career paths. We are looking for representatives from the following disciplines: Administration & HR, Business & Finance, Construction & Skilled Trades, Data Science & Cybersecurity, Engineering & Hydrology, Environmental Science, Legal, Operations & Maintenance, and Project Management. 2. Career Ready: Set up a table for your company where you can discuss open positions and the company itself (less of an emphasis on your career path). This is recommended for companies that have more than a few people who would like to participate.
The NEED Project designs and delivers teacher-tested educational materials, evaluation techniques and tools, recognition of student achievement, and professional development for educators. NEED materials and training programs provide comprehensive, objective information about the scientific concepts of energy and the sources of energy – their use and their impact on the environment, the economy and society.
