This meeting - open to any employee of any NHA member organization - features updates and discussion on key issues facing pumped storage development. Lunch will be provided.

1. Tennessee Valley Authority Pumped Storage Valuation Challenges Discussion (15-20 minutes): A brief update on the challenges associated with financial modeling and lifecycle valuation of pumped storage; takeaways for industry. Speaker: Rick Miller, HDR
2. International Pumped Storage Development: Financing Structure and Lessons Learned (15-20 minutes): A brief project update from rPlus, followed by a short case study on financing a pumped storage project outside the U.S. Speaker: Kamal Gautam, rPlus
3. Washington, D.C., Pumped Storage Legislative Update (10-15 minutes): A brief update on the legislative calendar for bills related to pumped storage hydropower and other D.C. happenings. Speaker: Matt Allen, NHA
4. U.S. Department of Energy Update (10 minutes): Presentation of current research. Speaker: Tyler Gipson, DOE
5. Other Project Updates (20 minutes): Open discussion for members to share updates on additional pumped storage projects.
