Jennifer Jones

Jennifer Jones is the Technical Director of Science at Kleinschmidt Associates, where she leads the science division in advancing technical excellence and fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams supporting hydropower, water resources, and environmental projects.

Jennifer began her career as a hydraulic engineer and has extensive experience in hydraulic modeling, hydrologic analysis, dam and spillway evaluations, fish passage considerations, and the application of engineering solutions to complex water resource challenges.

In her current role, she provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and professional mentorship while helping clients navigate the intersection of engineering, environmental stewardship, and sustainable energy development.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Maine.

Outside of work, she enjoys competing in triathlons, exploring the outdoors with her family and their two chocolate labs, and traveling across the United States and Canada.
