Jacob Richardson

Jacob is Senior Hydrologist at Salt River Project with 15 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic modeling and civil engineering design. His primary role at SRP is to develop observations and modeling products to support operations of SRP’s reservoir system for water supply, flood control, and hydroelectric generation. His role requires frequent field work and observations of the watershed conditions, as well as coordination with multiple agencies including US Forest Service, Indian Tribes, and recreational groups.

His experience prior to joining SRP included bridge hydraulic analysis and scour/erosion mitigation, design of pavement drainage and storm drain systems, and riverine structure analysis and design.
