Anna Yee

Anna Yee is the Prize Technical Support Specialist for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydropower and Hydrokinetic Office (H2O). For four years, Anna has overseen the office’s portfolio of prizes and advises teams based on best practices and prize strategies. Anna also acts as a subject matter expert on the topic of commercialization, acting as a topic lead on the Water Power Innovation Network funding opportunity and heading multiple other initiatives led by the H2O’s Strategic Innovation and Outreach team.

Prior to working at H2O and living in Colorado, Anna worked at and/or with multiple incubator and accelerator programs in California. For three years, Anna was a consultant for grant writing, grant management, and grant strategy, with clients in incubators/accelerators, utilities, and seaports. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in both Business Administration (concentration in Finance) and Economics with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon. Go Ducks!

Outside of work, Anna takes advantage of the Colorado outdoors, enjoying hiking, camping, rock climbing, and snowboarding. Anna also loves to travel, especially getting to backpack in some of the world’s most beautiful places.
