Jessie Hood

Jessie G. Hood is a Project Manager with Southern Company and Georgia Power, where he leads major hydroelectric modernization initiatives and complex infrastructure projects. He has more than a decade of experience in project execution, startup and commissioning, quality management, and electrical systems, with responsibility for coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing large-scale capital projects.

Prior to his current leadership role, Jessie served in startup and commissioning leadership positions supporting major generation and industrial construction projects. His background includes industrial electrical work, quality assurance, and service in the U.S. Army.

Jessie is recognized for his practical leadership approach, commitment to safety and quality, and ability to successfully deliver complex projects through strong stakeholder collaboration.
