Ross Purcell

Ross Purcell is a Senior Business Development Manager for Voith Hydro, bringing more than 14 years of experience spanning technical field leadership, project execution, and business development within the hydroelectric industry.

Ross began his career with a fascination for the design and fabrication of specialized equipment used to perform complex in-situ machining and welding repairs on hydro turbines, a passion that continues to shape his approach today. Over the years, he has earned a reputation for tackling some of the most challenging repair, rehabilitation, and modernization projects across North America, helping customers solve difficult problems and extend the life of critical hydro assets. While he enjoys all aspects of hydro equipment, Ross has a particular appreciation for large-diameter spherical valves and the engineering challenges they present.
