Simon Watson

Simon is the Asset Maintenance Lead at Black & Veatch with over 36 years of experience, 23 years in public utility maintenance and asset management and 13 years as a consultant. He has assisted small and large utilities implement optimized maintenance practices increasing equipment availability while reducing risk.

He believes in implementing practical approaches to optimizing maintenance and values the information technicians provide to assist in the optimization of maintenance programs.

He holds a BS in Business Management, a Master of Public Administration, and is a Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional. Simon also served in the US Coast Guard and Reserve for 20 years.
