Jean Quirion is the Vice President of Research and Development at Innovasea. Bringing over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Jean is a Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional holding a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. In his role, he oversee a dynamic R&D department dedicated to designing and engineering Innovasea's next-generation acoustic telemetry technology.

Jean’s expertise lies in applying artificial intelligence, computer vision, and edge computing to complex climate tech challenges, recently leading the R&D and commercialization of Innovasea’s HydroAI system for automated fish monitoring in fish passages.
