Doug Komoroski

Doug is the Federal Hydropower Manager at Bonneville Power Administration and chair of the Joint Operating Committee for the Federal Columbia River Power System. Through these roles he is responsible for hydropower operations strategy at 31 federal hydropower plants in the Northwest United States, representing over 22,000 MW of installed capacity and over 11,000 assets managed among Bonneville Power Administration, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

Doug’s background in hydropower also includes roles managing Project Managers, Program Managers, and Engineers, working as a Project Manager, and Turbomachinery Design Engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Washington.
