Scott Warnick

Scott is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on process automation, modeling, and industrial cybersecurity applications.

With over 25 years of experience in the industrial sector as a practicing automation and control system electrical engineer and project manager, he has broad experience in industrial control systems, including energy management systems, metals and mining, water and wastewater, industrial network design and protection, as well as cybersecurity and intelligence. Scott spent over a decade providing control system panel designs and architecture, control system process control strategies, and associated PLC and HMI configuration, control logic, and human interfaces, and has subsequently spent multiple years performing work in engineering consulting, heavy industrial manufacturing, and supporting research institutions.

He joined PNNL in the Cyber-physical Systems Engineering group and provides engineering and cybersecurity support for DOE sponsors in hydropower, process modeling, and national security applications.

Scott holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University.
