Priyanka Jain

Priyanka Jain has over 25 years of professional experience in the water resources field and over 15 years of experience in the emergency management and dam safety field.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in water resources engineering at the University of California Davis.

Priyanka oversees the Water Resource Projects Section at East Bay Municipal Utility District which is responsible for administering the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission hydropower license for FERC Project No. 2916-CA which includes emergency management for dam safety, managing the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for EBMUD dams, spillways and appurtenances which includes dam breach inundation modeling and analysis, and developing and maintaining policies and performing water demand and supply assessments and climate change analysis for long term water resources planning which includes authoring the Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan.
