Roberto Lucidi

Roberto Lucidi is an Engineering Geologist with experience in geotechnical, geo-civil, and mining consulting. Currently with Stantec, he has coordinated and supervised geological and geotechnical investigations for hydropower, mining, transportation, and civil infrastructure projects across North America and internationally.

His expertise includes managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing field exploration programs, and integrating geological, geotechnical, and hydrogeological data to support engineering design. Roberto specializes in subsurface characterization and development of detailed geologic maps and models using advanced geological and engineering software.

His work has supported the planning, design, and construction of major infrastructure projects, including pumped storage facilities, tailings storage facilities, concrete and embankment dams, underground waterways, transportation tunnels, and major excavations. He has also contributed to building and bridge foundation projects through geotechnical site investigations, foundation characterization, and construction-phase geological assessments critical to foundation design and construction. His technical analyses and interpretative reports support informed engineering decisions on complex infrastructure developments.
