Senior Environmental Engineering Applications Developer at RTI International
Florian Kluibenschädl is a Senior Environmental Engineering Applications Developer at RTI International. He holds an MS in Water Management and Environmental Engineering and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria. His expertise lies in developing software systems that integrate hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with data-driven decision support for water resources management. At RTI, he is a core contributor the Amanzi™ architecture, RTI’s scalable technology stack for environmental modeling and forecasting, supporting projects that implement e.g. watershed forecasting, web-based stochastic rainfall-runoff frequency analysis, or near-real-time inundation mapping. Before joining RTI in 2019, Mr. Kluibenschädl worked in software development for governmental applications, and as a civil engineer on water supply systems in the Austrian Alps. He brings deep experience in programming, GIS, and environmental system modeling, bridging engineering, data science, and software architecture to advance hydropower and water resource applications.
