Lukas Livengood

Lukas Livengood is an Associate at Argonne National Laboratory working with Dr. Quentin Ploussard on various Hydropower-related technologies and projects. Lukas is a recent graduate from Case Western Reserve University, with degrees in both Physics and Computer Science and is currently looking towards enrollment in a Physics Masters program. His work bridges these two degrees together, as it primarily focuses on science-oriented software applications, such as development of telescope modeling tools, hydropower plant operations, genome analysis, and more. Currently, Lukas is working at Argonne to develop the DOE WPTO-funded Hydropower Market Game as its developer and assisting in the analysis of cascading dam systems. In the future, he intends to develop an array of software tools to assist in research and analysis.
