Lead Engineer at GE Vernova
Benjamin Cress is a lead mechanical engineer in the service engineering group at GE Vernova since 2021 with over 10 years of experience in hydro turbine mechanical design. He has a mechanical engineering technology degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He is currently involved in the development of multiple hydro innovation projects, such as submersible robotic inspection, amplified acoustic camera, and automated robotic welding solutions. He aims to provide a customer focused approach to inspection and maintenance that reduces downtime and repair costs through innovative machine design, inspection and repair methods.
