Christian Hager

Christian Hager is currently an OT Solutions Executive at OPSWAT, a global leader in critical infrastructure security where he helps clients around the world secure remote monitoring & information sharing. Previously, he was Vice President/Sales & BD at Fend Inc, which was acquired by OPSWAT in Dec 2024. Last year, Christian worked on a cybersecurity enhancement program for hydropower with DOE’s Waterpower Technology Office. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Hager has held senior business positions in cybersecurity, satellite communications and medical device manufacturing. He frequently advocates for new technological advances and policy adaptations to members of the OT/ ICS/ SCADA/FRCS communities to help secure critical operational visibility and support network & systems resilience. He is a member of the AWWA Digital Twin Committee, the AWWA OT Cybersecurity Subcommittee and the American Public Transport Association Technology & Security Working Group. In a former life, he was a professional ski instructor.
