Cory Warnock

In addition to managing McMillen’s regulatory and natural resources staff, Cory provides project management and strategic support services for comprehensive hydroelectric licensing/relicensing and compliance efforts across the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.   With 25 years of experience in the FERC regulatory and natural resource space, Cory is adept in guiding proactive planning efforts that translate into long-term efficient and cost-effective approaches for successful project implementation and ultimately, completion.  In addition to his facilitation and stakeholder interaction skills, Cory’s background as a fisheries biologist provides supplemental and real benefit in allowing him to assist with aquatic study program design, analysis and negotiations related to the development of biologically justifiable terms and conditions.  Cory has led numerous successful licensing processes resulting in both original and renewed licenses. Clients consistently retain his services for the subsequent compliance and implementation efforts associated with their newly acquired licenses.  In his spare time, Cory is an avid salmon fisherman and enjoys coaching his daughter’s club soccer team.
