George Velazquez

George Velazquez serves as the Manager of the Project Delivery Office, where he oversees the execution of programs and projects across Chelan PUD’s Turbine Rehabilitations, Balance of Plant, Hatcheries, Parks, and Natural Resources. With more than 25 years of experience in the hydroelectric utility sector, George has led comprehensive project efforts including feasibility studies, planning, engineering design, permitting, construction management, and commissioning. His portfolio spans a wide range of infrastructure and strategic initiatives, including turbines and generators, transmission and distribution systems, switchyards and substations, water systems, fish hatcheries, fiber optic networks, and enterprise-level strategic planning. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, an MBA, and is a current Project Management Professional. “Believe in the power within you!”
