Merry Dang

Merry has over a decade of extensive experience in the hydropower and dam industries, specifically in roles focused on business development and strategy building. She is a passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within these sectors. Currently, Merry serves as the inaugural chair of the DEI Committee for the United States Society on Dams (USSD) and is an invited member of the Gender Inclusion Committee for the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD). In addition to her committee work, Merry has participated in several panels discussing women's roles in the industry. Merry has played a key role in retention and recruitment initiatives with the Ontario Waterpower Association (OWA) and was the inaugural chair of the Communications Committee at the Canadian Dam Association (CDA).
