Laura Read

Laura is the Product Manager for HydroForecast, helping to develop the product strategy and processes to continue growing our system and team. Prior to joining the team, she worked as a Project Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research on a hydrologic model development team. She brings expertise in hydrologic sciences and statistics, project management, technical writing, and client communication. Laura holds a Ph.D. from Tufts University in Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Water Diplomacy program, as well as a M.S.E. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound. Laura is based in Denver, Colorado and when not working, she’s most likely pulling weeds and talking to plants in her garden, baking bread and cooking beans, or spending time in the outdoors with her family.
