Kevin Duffy is a social scientist whose work focuses understanding human dimensions of technology innovation and energy development, including risk perceptions and media narratives. Kevin has extensive experience on both the research and applied side of science communication and community engagement. Most recently, Kevin is studying the information use and needs of regulators and scientific advisors working to address marine energy environmental effects, as well as facilitating technical assistance for five rural utilities pursuing energy storage solutions. Kevin has a BA from University of St. Thomas, MA from Michigan State University, and PhD from the University of Maine.
