Dennis Schwartz

Dennis Schwartz brings three decades of extensive experience in the corporate management of Hydropower and Water Service Line clients in North America and the Northwest. He manages Schnabel client relations and business development that spans the private, government, and municipal sectors within the water, marine, and hydropower business. He operates as the first line relationship manager for clients within the water, marine and hydropower space and is a known professional and leader within these communities and industry. Dennis possesses far-reaching experience and knowledge in the operation, design, safety management, construction, and capital rehabilitation of dams, reservoirs, spillways, and hydropower projects in the Northwestern US. His roles have included large hydropower / dam team leadership; civil works project O&M; construction and rehabilitation project management; technical roles; and site-based construction support for projects ranging in construction value up to $110 million. His skills give clients confidence that their health and safety risks will be carefully managed, and that complex hydropower and spill operational scenarios can be understood at the plant and reservoir operations level. His work history spans 31+ years in large hydropower related environments including the refurbishment of hydro facilities, turbines, generators and large electrical components, and the repair and construction of new additions to large spillways.
