Robby Floyd

General Manager of the Central Hydro Region for the Tennessee Valley Authority, which is comprised of 11 plants (24 units with one reversible turbine) generating 641MW of power across Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. Over the last 20 years he has held multiple positions within TVA Hydro Generation Fleet starting in the Multi Skilled Training Program in 2005. From there, he worked as a multiskilled technician and foremen before serving as an Outage Manager for multiple major outages and projects. A few years later he served as plant manager for various sites and was responsible for the maintenance, operations, projects, and outages for those sites. He then served as manager of the Hydro Dispatch Control Center for TVA, which is responsible for the 24/7 operations and monitoring of the entire automated conventional hydro fleet at TVA before advancing to his current role.
