Aquatic Ecologist, Fisheries Biologist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), U.S. Department of Energy
Dr. Brenda Pracheil is a fisheries biologist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and is also Governing Board Chair of the Low Impact Hydropower Institute and an Associate Editor for North American Journal of Fisheries Management. Brenda is a graduate of Michigan State University (MS) and University of Nebraska (BS, BA, PhD) and conducted postdoctoral studies at University of Wisconsin Center for Limnology. Her research focuses on incorporating science into real world environmental solutions, especially solutions that consider tradeoffs between environmental and societal needs in riverine ecosystems.
