Katia has over 30 years of experience dedicated to advancing power generation technologies and advocating for water sustainability. She has held leadership positions in engineering, R&D, product and system development, cost modeling, and business development. In her current capacity as Hydro Account Leader for GE Vernova, Katia is committed to driving customer value and promoting the pivotal role of hydropower in the global energy transition. She's a big believer in public and private sector collaboration and engages with stakeholders at state and federal levels, advocating for policies that support clean energy, one hydro-powered idea at a time. She holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a master's degree in business, and a post graduate certificate in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
