Dan Patla

Dan Patla is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Hydroelectric Design Center with 22 years of experience in hydropower engineering. As a national and international Subject Matter Expert in hydraulic turbines, he leads and provides oversight on critical turbine replacement and generator rewind projects across the nation, including innovative studies for improved fish passage and dissolved oxygen. Prior to his current role, he managed a team of 15 engineers and a portfolio of over 90 projects with contracts totaling more than $1 billion. Also, he definitely thinks that song is about him.
