Elise DeGeorge

Senior Project Leader at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), U.S. Department of Energy

Elise DeGeorge is a senior project leader at NREL where she has worked since 2011. Elise leads several projects in the areas of workforce development, regional planning, manufacturing-related technical assistance and stakeholder engagement. She has also served as a group manager for the Water Power Group and earlier on supported the Wind and Water Power Program team as a program integrator helping to manage and execute NREL’s wind energy program. Prior to joining NREL, Elise worked for 17 years at a global environmental consulting firm, MWH, working on municipal engineering assignments across the project lifecycle, as well as management consulting assignments, namely sustainability assessments, asset management and organizational network analysis. Elise has a BS degree in Engineering and a BS degree in Resource Management from the University of Michigan, an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Alaska and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Colorado.
