Patrice Martel

Patrice completed a technical college diploma in industrial mechanics with hydraulics. He worked on many aspects of the trade in Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment of all types, including drawings, technical conception of systems and general designs, as well as on site installation and systems troubleshooting. Patrice started in the hydropower technical sector about 30 years ago for Neyrpic, followed by Alstom and Voith in Canada. He also worked for a major cylinder manufacturer in the past. All of this experience has provided him with a very good understanding of all systems and components associated with the hydropower sector, and helps to provide custom solutions that meet customer expectations. Patrice has been employed by Hydac since 2019, as the Hydropower Market Manager, responsible for North America.
