Mirko Musa

Mirko Musa is a Research Scientist within the Water Resource Science and Engineering Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. At ORNL, Mirko’s research spans both conventional hydropower and hydrokinetic energy, supporting technological advancement while ensuring their environmental compatibility. Mirko received his Ph.D. in Civil, Environmental and Geo- Engineering from the University of Minnesota with a thesis on the effects of hydrokinetic turbines on river geomorphology. Previously, he also received a B.S and M.S. in Environmental Engineering at the University of Trento (Italy).
