Jim Thrasher

Jim is a passionate supporter of the hydroelectric industry. He works with the business development team of Thompson/HCMS and previously served as the civil/mechanical maintenance superintendent for American Electric Power’s hydro generation group. Jim has over 30 years of experience in maintaining and operating hydropower plants. His experience is particularly oriented toward the work needed for upgrading and optimizing hydropower plants. Jim is a registered engineer, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former member of the National Hydropower Association’s Board of Directors.
