Matt Pevarnik

Matt is responsible for customer growth and care, business development, advocacy, strategic marketing, and sales of GE Renewable Energy’s hydropower generation product portfolio for the installed base and new greenfield projects for western states. Matt started his career as a boiler inspector in the mid-Atlantic states located in Pittsburgh, PA. He then moved to Denver in 2001 to run the Service division for the fossil and nuclear businesses. In 2010 he joined the company’s Global Power Sales Group focusing on not only the fossil and nuclear product lines but also the company’s renewable portfolio of hydro, wind and solar thermal. In 2015 he joined the company’s Hydro Business, responsible for business development and strategic growth of the US markets. Matt is on the Board of the Northwest Hydropower Association, member of the National Renewable Electric Laboratory Mechanical Technical Review Panel and on the Building Ships Advisory Board at the Highlands Ranch STEM school. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University and currently resides in the Denver area.
