The Hydroelectric Power Subcommittee is a subcommittee of the Energy Development and Power Generation Committee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power & Energy Society. It is actively engaged in developing standards, guides, and technical presentations in the area of hydropower.
Subcommittee working groups meet to discuss ongoing work on specific standards and guides. Active working group topics include governors, generator installation, couplings and runout tolerances.
Clean Currents attendees are welcome and encouraged to participate.
