This meeting is for Chief Dam Safety Engineers (CDSEs) who work for hydro project asset owners that are members of the National Hydropower Association (NHA).
The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for CDSEs to share challenges with and ask questions of one another.
Discussion Topics Include:
– Update on Section 247 of the Hydro Incentives Program, by the U.S. Department of Energy Grid Deployment Office
– Description of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Low-Interest Loan Program for Dam Safety Work
– Discussion with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Division of Dam Safety and Inspections (FERC D2SI): Feedback on CAs/PIs — what are they seeing and commenting on?
– Roundtable discussion among NHA member organizations about CAs/PIs; Long Term Schedule
– Connect and Learn: Robotic Inspection of Penstocks – Experiences and Lessons Learned by the Bureau of Reclamation
