B7a: Modular Precast Concrete Methods and Means: Modernizing the Civil Construction Hydropower Industry

Demonstrators will showcase and discuss 3-D models of a microturbine precast module, a scalable low to medium head retrofitted precast hydropower dam, and a precast designed powerhouse.

Throughout the demonstration, we will address benefits of precast modular construction, highlighting project time compression, increased resilience, significant cost and risk reduction, and lower CO2 emissions to the hydropower community.
