Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) 101 Workshop

During this workshop, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) staff will provide an introduction to FERC and its hydropower and dam safety programs.

Participants will learn about: FERC’s licensing, compliance, and dam safety programs; the role of FERC’s regional offices; and how to effectively participate in FERC hydropower proceedings.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity for those new to hydro or new to regulatory aspects to get a basic understanding of FERC’s responsibilities and to interact with FERC staff.
